Dear Barry, Being first time homebuyers we didn't know what to do or who to trust. All we knew about getting a lawyer was not to get just any lawyer, get a 'Real Estate' Lawyer. Barry was referred to us by our realtor and we stayed with Barry because his cost was around what we were expecting to pay. On buying a home, we were amazed at how much there was to do, and the strict deadlines to get it all done. Barry reminded us of our deadlines, took care of all the lawyer stuff and gave us high-level updates on what had transpired. During closing, he translated the 'lawyer talk' in the documents so we could better understand what we were signing and thus we felt more comfortable about signing everything.
